July 2 :Brazil were knocked out of the world cup. I cracked the screen 5F2 out of shape.

June 29:Whatever said and done I looked and behaved like a complete dumber on my way back to home. Arguing with the poor cabie for not taking the service lane looked pathetic. When will I be more proactive ? Felt really while writing this:( Looks like I have chance to host a Quiz with my college friend Vivek.Today was another bad day at the office. Broke my head for a simple problem. God please help think simple and be simple. .Coz simplicity is the greatest sophistication. Hey those are Mr.Vinci's lines.

Today is not a good day at office for me. I took the entire 6 hrs to solve the X Prog error. I just humiliated my self by not initializing the proper variables in the program. Is it just the tip of the Ice berg. Don't Know what holds in store for me. And guess what, Megan Fox is not in Transformers three :(

Day 2, June 28, 2010, Tambaram

Yesterday I watched one of the Epic Demolitions in the history of the Soccer world Cup. Yes, the final score read 4-1 in favor of Germany. Germany ripped apart England in the round of 16. The wrecker in chief was a 20 year old Attacking midfielder - Thomas Mueller. The kid had the nerves of steel and was involved in three of the four goals that were score yesterday. German National football team is now a force to reckon with. They played better than the Argentineans. Again there were two controversial decisions made by the referee, a Frank Lampard Goal that was disallowed and a Tevez Goal that was allowed. Both of these decisions did not impact the final results of any of the matches. I am looking forward for what many would say as the match of the Tournament, between Argentina & Germany, on next Saturday. I still remember what the Germans did to the Argentinians in 2006. Will it going to be the same story all over ? It is going to be the match between the Argentinians forwards against the German Mid-field. All the best to Oezil and Mueller!! I also watched the flick "The Usual Suspects". Kevin Spacy's performance was rocking. Since the story line was very familiar and screen play was very boring, I could not enjoy the movie. But nevertheless the film is a Classic. Kudos to Spacy.

Today was very dull day at the office. I spent most of my time figuring out what problem to solve, rather than solving the problem. I think I am nearing 70 % completion of my application. Lets hope I solve the mysterious error in the screen "513" tomorrow. Today I enjoyed a chocolate which has Tequila and Margarita filled in it. The chocolate and the liquor combination tasted delicious.
I had a talk with Harmith Kaur - an investment advisor from RBS. She was pretty and I enjoyed the conversation with her. I was really irritated today when an unknown fucker argued with me saying "I would be dropped home Last". I would have shoved him in his ass for his sarcasm. The only thing I learnt from the mother fucker was that he was proactive even though he was sarcastic. That is one way of solving very huge problems very early. Hope I realize this fact one day. Until then have a good night & sleep tight. See you tomorrow !!

I have been thinking to do this for quite a long time. Yes, use my blog as my Personal Diary. Using this as a vent to let out my emotions. Two events inspired me to take this decision. One, Amitabh Bacchan 's Blog and two, my unrelenting quest to improve my English language skills. Instead of boring everyone with the rationale behind my choice, I would rather blog upon the events that appealed me this week.

Undoubtedly, the hottest topic would be Mesut Ozil. Who is this fancy kid? What is he doing in the heart of the well-oiled German Midfield Machinery in this Soccer World Cup? That was a lame question isn't it? I was of the opinion that the German National Football team(Die deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft) was powered by Ballack and Schweinstieger in the midfield. Thunderous strike aginst Ghana from the Werder Bremen marksman made me change my ideology. What a Talent !! France and Raymond Domonech sucked once agian. Italians never settled even against unkown footballing nations. It is a shame that they have the best club footballing team in whole of Europe at this moment - Inter Milan. I feel that the world cup would still continue with the same vigor and passion even without the presence of France and Italy in the round of 16s. Another biggest mystery is Spain. They were named as the tournament favourites along with Brazil. Still they managed to loose a game against Slovenia. All the predictions are being thrown out of the window. My bet would be on Argentina. Lets hope that Messi will truly be crowned the King of the World and Maradonna runs naked in the centre of Buenous Aries City.

Taken. This week-end I had the oppurtunity to watch Liam Neeson in TAKEN. A heart-wrenching story in which Neeson's Daughter gets entangled into a prostitution web in France. How Neeson saves her daughter is the story line. Liam does a pretty decent job portraying an ex-marine and the film is more than watchable. But the scenes featuring the brothels in France run by Albanian Immigrants will surprise everyone. The Albanians who work in the construction sites in french downtown, would kidnap young girls, drug them and force them into prostitution.The brothel resembles much like a tent theater with lots of screens and beds. How could a developed country like France allow such a criminal activity ? A must see film to know about the dark side of Paris.

Concurrency in DB2. There is a Db2 transaction which resolves the concurrency issues in case of a Deadlock. This transaction kills any one of the two tasks involved in the deadlock randomly and resolves the deadlock. The beauty is that this Deadlock resolver is a transaction which sleeps and wakes up after the specified interval. Amazing isn't.

How many of us stumble upon an idea / flash of Genius while opening a bottle of Champagne ? How many of us ever dreamt of standing before a Jury and fighting a legal battle (all by your own) against the big three of Detroit ? See Robert William Kearns doing that in Flash of Genius. Amazing movie .. Truly Inspiring !!

I never knew the same corn starch which is used for thickening the soup can be used for fattening Chicken or a Shrimp. I am Game !!

After a long break I played cricket at the Somasundaram Ground in T.Nagar. My statistics - Got 4 Wickets & scored 4 runs. I was completely exhausted at the end of the game and I looked something like this !! I still feel the intense pain resulting from that game :)

Demigod ~ An Addiction

I have not been into serious gaming for quite sometime after the Age of Mythology. But the new game from Stardock - Demigod almost caught me off gaurd. Initially the game starts very monotonously and it has got no great eye-candies to attract serious gamers(except for the Rook !). We easily tend to get the impression that this game would be a Psychopathic massacre, killing innocent soldiers. But that is not the case. This is a strategy game similar to the Age of Civilization / Mythology. The Primary target would be to conquer the enemie's Citadel. For which we can forge alliance with the demigods. There are some uber cool upgrades for the levels we reach during the game. This game is keeping me totally occupied :)

P.S. I am slowly getting addicted to the game

A Venkat Prabhu Holiday !!

That was the perfect description of Goa. Jai ran riot with his Tanglish. His acting with Pia Bajpai was Estrardianry. Vaibhav,Arvind Akash and Sampath made Goa a hilarious concoction.

But the real star is Premji Amaran. His caveman hair & beard was analogous to Sebastian Chabal of Sale Sharks. His duets and romance with Melanie Marie Jobstreibitzer was extremely funny. The movie is a 5 starer .

P.S. - Melanie you look awesome :)

Old Dogs Rock !!

This year on Tamil New Year's day I had the opportunity to watch one of the best comedy films of the year 2010. Yes, Old Dogs - A walt disney movie indeed Rocks. It was really sad to see Robin Williams looking like a grand pa. But both John Travolta and Robin Williams were incredibly funny and it really deserves five stars. Man! it is a must watcher and it truly follows the Pineapple express and hangover lineage. Hail Old Dogs !!

A Betrayal..

There are certain things that i am going to take with me to grave. Work experience in ML is one of them. I was a vagabond before joining ML. ML transformed me into an IT professional. All the kudos goes to one woman - SUDHA. How do I return the favor ? A shameless betrayal. I broke the trust she had on me by quitting ML. This betrayal will remain in my heart as long as I live. No amount of tears can ever wash away these wounds.

In '2' days time , my old Chinese sogo mobile was replaced with N73. And my first mobile phone is replaced by Nokia 5610 Music Express. What the Hell! Am I blowing money unnecessarily. I am not sure what I am doing is correct. The Time goes on... And I have not even started on my CAT preparation... Still Uncertain about the future... What the hell .. No Singapore chances are clicking also .. What the Hell ... And another Year almost passed just like that and I am typing all these things the day before Diwali 2008 ( Listening to Om Shanti Om Dastan Song )... All my Juniors have gone onsite and is this what they call as Luck.. Will I be settled if I go and earn in Onsite... Do I need to have higher Management degree. Will I be left like the millions of IT professionals in India... How Long will this IT boom will be there in India... If this bubble breaks where will I be left stranded ? Most pf my friends got settled in life ??? When will I be settled in life ?? When can I crack the CAT ? When will I be independent ? How many questions do I need to answer to settle in Life ... Just tell me what is the cut off that I need to attain to settle in Life .. When Will I construct a house for my ailing parents ? I am not able to see them suffer right before my eyes ? Do I really need all these celebrations , festivities and gadgets to make my self appear as settled ? I still cannot forget the 6000 for gate ad 18000 for CAT... Should I always suffer being born in a middle class ? Or Should I suffer by being an underachiever through out my life ?

I usually avoid seeing movies during week-day nights after office hours. Reason . Next day work . But I took a chance watching a 3.5 hour Marathon movie called Jodha Akbar. One word to describe the movie. Awesome. Probably you will hear the same comment from me even for a Box-Office Bomb :). But man !, Ashutosh is a Genius. After watching the movie I really had to break many of my wrong notions . Jalaluddin Mohammed is a True Hero. Put your selves in the shoes of an illiterate ruler who had to deal with more enemies within his own camp rather than outside. A Betraying step-mother ,a lunatic brother-in-law and a truly loving wife. Man ! deadly concoction. A.R. 's music casted a spell on me , from which I would guess I need a life-time to relieve from.Jodha Akbar ranks third in my all time favorites after Black and Beautiful Mind. Am I acting too fast again ? ? ? Kehne ko jashn e bahara hain . . .

I hate Orkut

Personally I have nothing against orkut. But rarely would have Orkut Buyukkokten have thought that this excellent community network would some day become a tool for those egoistic bastards and bitches to show off their inflated egos on the net. What do i mean ? Updating the profile with a weirdo name illustrating idiotic feelings. Worst of all is updating photos with show-off poses in exotic locations and leaving the photos tab unlocked. What can we do about this ? ? ?
