Today i got my system fixed by the computer service person.the problem was simple and he just ran the windows set up file from the command prompt.all the problems were solved and the only problem that exists now is that the search of the x.p. is not working properly.my project is sill in the sate of dilemma.the project external guide Mr. Mahesh clearly briefed us that we cannot expect any hardware projects,the least we could expect from DSL was an application project based on ASP platform.i am really frightened about how my department is going to react to such a software project.i already made up my mind not to write GATE specifically for the above reason.the cost for quitting the GATE is 6 grands ( Rs.6000) . well the life is getting really harder for me and i have joined a new course on desk top publishing.i hardly find time to be free inspite of having only two working days.the journey to teynampet daily is taking a heavy toll on me.

THE CRASH

The word which i hate the most in english is 'CRASH'.this is because of several reasons.one of which is the windows 98 crash in my system.i still couldnt figure out why my os crashed . i had minor problem while doing a live up date nav( norton anti virus file).the system downloaded 5 out of six files and shut down all by itself while downloading the sixth.the problem started there , the next day when i tried to open the I.E. , error messages filled my desktop and the in evitable happened.even now the crash is not repaired and i'm using my X.P. for the net. can some body please help me out of his situatuion.when i try to login thru my 98 ,blank screen appears with the message " NAV AUTO PROTECT ON, UNABLE TO LOCATE CONFIGUIRING FILES!!"

again we have got this placements in our college . this time i think we have got around three companies visitng our college within a short span of one week. i again hope that i get selected in any of these three corps. first one would be the l and t i presume.

By the way, i had become a regular viewer of the tv channel called discovery travel and living . i was really awe stuck and amazed by the modesty of the man called INDIAN LARRY . he is a great chopper builder . i would call him an ultimate champion. the way he dresses, his belief in god ,his considerations towards his co builders,never say die attitude and meticulous planning had really inspired me.kudos to the great man.

MY TOUR DIARY- KOCHIN
The departure from the central was drama in itself our class sudents (everybody) boarded the allepey express but myself and sundar raman got this crazy idea of ringing to our parents before departure. i call it crazy because , not a single soul was loitering in the plat form.but we settled the difference and ended up in our respective seats wow! the train was so conjested that i thought i would choke to death. fortunately i got a seat near the window.phew! i couldnt open the window ,rain gods were too generous. venket started playing the uno.while i enjoyed the night by peeping out from the speeding train. some of my friends started this game of " FACE PAINTING " . well the after math was pretty hilarious and the poor wash basin had to take in all the colors we reached kochin again damn rains ,no words to describe. but we enjoyed the bus provided to us.then we were accomadated in the hotel called astoria . i still wonder what that name means.then we went around the kochin dock in a ferry. boy! wasnt it breathe taking? i saw a coast gaurd ship(though i have seen some really bigger ships, my father being a marine engg), the whole dock was pretty scenic. my classmates enjoyed to their maximum . we had this competition called ' DANCE TO GET PLACED' ,winner gets placed in a reputed firm .suresh did a good job and got placed.then we went for shopping and i really saw "PAULO COHELO 'S best seller ALCHEMIST " on the shores of kochin.i also visited a perfume store again to my surprise they had " THE COOLWATER " - my favourite perfume. [ hell no ! it is the dubbed indian version ]. after exhuasting myself in kochin ,we visited a temple.the temple was a good 20km from the hotel.so i thought of having a good sleep during the travel.but my friends thought otherwise.it was all calm and quiet till we finished the pooja.after which,during the return journey, my friends wanted to freak out. my god! , i had not slept for over 37 hours still i was made to dance!!!! (first in the ferry and then in the bus ).i planned to dance for an 'EMINEM ' number (quite difficult !). my friends didnt allow that.so i danced for a vijay song.

a day to remember

yes it again happened for the third time on trot.i was screwed at the last moment. out of the eight shortlisted candidates for TVS ELECTRONICS , i was quite confident of clearing the ffffiiinnnaaaallll hurdle . but couldnt . on top it the bloody hr guy says " you need to be little clearer."who cares. yesterday was one of my worst days ,at first i was rudely woken up by the alarm at 4.00 a.m. then i did a bit of polar graphs for my records.when i was in the college, i came to know that i didnt bring my C book from my home for the interview.then i cleared the first round and went for my lunch and got scoldings from my dean TCP( placement) for not attentive enough.( not eager enough to know the results of 1 round). then it was the time for my favourite round the tech round and apps and i had a cakewalk ( but scored just 49 /90 ) .
then came the h.r. interview . i was the most confident fellow of the lot and to my surprise the hr fellow questioned only on my personal background.then ,finally the results where out & it was the time for the inevitable.
then when i wanted to open my blog window(to write the hell out of it!!) there was a problem in my blog so it didnt open ,oh what a day!problems seemed to continue ,the next day was my mod pracs( today , and i scored a lousy 95 /100 for not doing my practicals properly enough)and a mod microwave exam . well i say i quit.give me a break. see you later

un interesting seminar

one fine day i had a chance to take seminar on professional ethics.guess what every body wore a whose bothered expression in their face. it realy hurted me a lot.well i have to prepare for my univ exams so see u later.

my god , i really do not know what should i do to get a job.infact i performed my g.d fairly well, the g,d, was a role play . i was given a role of holly wood actor to portray. if i was in a plane crash scenario i should justify that " i should be the person who had to be saved first".

utter waste

finally i was selected for h.r. round in the (not well known!) GDA technologies.guess what happened (as usual) , fell down at the final hurdle.it really hurts me.i waited at the bloody SRI RAM COLLEGE campus for over 14 hours to find out the inevitable. know what ,tommorow i got this company called HEXAWARE for another(sob!)campus interview.as usual un prepared for the test.thats it for now
